I’m super excited to share my new favorite beauty tool from Smile Brilliant, the cariPro electric toothbrush. Since I’m home in Ohio and don’t have a full-time career yet, I’ve really been trying to take time to focus on my health and wellbeing. I’m not sure everyone would consider brushing your teeth as a “beauty” tool, but I sure as hell do! * Pricey when compared to a regular toothbrush, however, the quality of the toothbrush and the fact that the brush heads last a fair amount of time and inexpensive extras are sold separately are factors to consider.

I learned that our consumeristic society makes us believe we need a lot of things when in fact, we simply don’t need them, but just really really want them. This is a list of what I learned I didn’t need 24/7, however, the accuracy of this list also depends on your priorities and what you need to be comfortable in your daily life. This wasn’t intended to be an environmentally friendly sort of post but you should take a second to think about how many makeup wipes you use and throw away a month. Items like air conditioning and room decorations will most likely be temporary for me, but this time period also gave me the chance to realize that I really don’t need to use a paper towel every single time there’s a little spot or use a pack-full of makeup wipes a month.

I don’t give myself enough time to do a full practice (something I’m working on), but I still like to get the kinks out and get my body moving. On the days I don’t have time to pack, or simply don’t have the groceries, I like to treat myself to a Sweet Green salad, or one of the other many yummy places on Newbury Street. It gives me some time to clear my mind, while having a work location like Newbury Street, also helps quite a bit. Something I’ve found about working full-time is that it’s incredibly hard to make time for other priorities, like  Delightful Days, but I’ve been trying to at least maintain my content and write down all my ideas so they don’t get lost.
