The cherry on top was when Caitlin surprised Jordan with my favorite live painter, Rosemary Fanti who had already gotten started painting the gorgeous reception room. From Samantha: It was a Tuesday evening in August when I first met Dawn and Nick to discuss their Chicago Athletic Association Wedding. We bonded over a couple of beers and I was completely encapsulated by their love story, engagement story, and relationship in general. After dancing the night away to Entourage’s amazing music, Dawn and Nick snuck out to Millenium park with Cristina G and Imagination Designers for Cristina’s iconic champagne spray photo. When I first heard Dana tell me about her vision, which primarily included lots of greenery, the romantic ambiance of Artifact Events, and a neon sign photo booth moment, I knew this was going to be a gorgeous wedding day. Throughout the planning process, I always like to remind my Brides to make choices that feel like them, that way their wedding day will feel like them! Whether it was a fun/sassy first dance to Firecakes donuts and Lou Malnati’s for guests to enjoy later in the evening, every detail felt like them and this translated so well throughout their entire day! From the moment I walked into Jackie’s suite at The Langham on wedding morning, everyone was relaxed and having an amazing time and this vibe carried throughout their entire day ending in the best party! To open the dance floor, the mariachi band teamed up with the ever amazing Gold Coast Events to play a duet of Despacito which has got to be one of my favorite wedding moments EVER!
