The Shops of La Cantera is such a beautiful and unique shopping mall. I recently brought our rescue dog, GracieLoo, with me and had a wonderful day shopping, sipping, eating and just enjoying everything the day had in store for us at The Shops at La Cantera. The mall celebrated National Puppy Day with a spring trend fashion show featuring collections from Anthropologie, Free People, Athleta and more and the cutest puppy models who were all available for adoptions. Spring is here in Texas and that means one thing fashion wise, lots and lots of layers. It can be pretty chilly in the morning like 39 degrees and by mid afternoon I love the sophisticated look that neutral layers bring to these roller coaster days. The over the knee black boot and a black and neutral purse completed this look for me.

I like to have a non alcohol drink too, make it fun link pink lemonade or a mix of Fresca and Cherry Juice, add garnishes and no one knows the difference. However, I know some gal’s that love a charcuterie board with all the meats, cheeses, olives and pate, and others who say let’s keep it simple and order in (Pizza anyone? )!
