Skip to main content Father's Day is always a bittersweet day for me. While in my mind I imagine what a "perfect" life would be like visiting all the dads in my life with all the tired and cranky children, it's only spent celebrating Anth. The kids soak up an entire day loving on Daddy (which by the way.... isn't much different than any other day! ) My beautiful girls and I take a breath and think God has a reason and God has a plan and he hasn't let us down so far
The simple fact is that I wasn't expecting to make such awesome mom friends at Quinn's school. The moms who shuffle my kids around to gymnastics gladly even though they are already have a car full of kids just so I don't have to wake my babies to be there at pick up . The moms who crack open a bottle of rosé at 10:30 with you just because it's a day off of school. And thank you to all the moms who I don't even know who simply pull a cart out for you in Target with a warm smile and an "I've been there.
