It’s been a few weeks since I showed you the new producs that Catrice and Essence brought out for spring/ summer 2019. I first showed you the Catrice products in early February as they are always first. A few weeks later, Essence released their update and I posted my video on the new products in early March. Have you tried any of the new Catrice & Essence products?

I have been trying so many different foundations lately and it had been a while since I tried anything by MAC. But that foundation doesn’t have a great shade match for me and that is why the MUA recommended I try the Waterweight foundation. This shade matches my neck perfectly, but that does mean that with just foundation I tend to look a bit pale. I experience creasing when I get a bit sweaty, but overall this stays put all day and doesn’t need any touching up throughout the workday.

I thought it would be fun to do an overview of some of the eyeshadow palettes that I showed in recent hauls or that were released in recent months. I am sharing my thoughts on 10 different eyeshadow palettes from the new Urban Decay Naked Reloaded to a new ZOEVA palette as well as some palettes that may not be new, but that I just recently tried for the first time. Think ABH Subculture and Colourpop’s Dream Street: yes, I hadn’t tried those yet before. So here we go: my thoughts on 10 eyeshadow palettes that are new to my collection.

The minute I spotted the press releases for the new Catrice update I knew I wanted to get my hands on one of their new Superbia eyeshadow palettes. This is a set of 2 palettes: Vol 1 being warm toned in Warm Copper and Vol 2 being cool toned in Frosted Taupe. The plastic feels a bit cheap and my biggest pet peeve about this palette is how the lid of this palette is not flat, but comes up a bit. 2 Frosted Taupe eyeshadow palette by Catrice is a very promising cool toned palette.
