Prestige Colorado is the oldest Porsche and Audi dealer in the Rocky Mountain Region and their Winter Driving Event is just one of the incredible events the dealership hosts for their customers. Going into this driving event, I was thrilled to try out a few Audi’s and hoping to feel more comfortable driving on ice. There were two courses on the 15-18 inch layer of ice, multiple experienced driving instructors and cars with different tire treads -all season, snow, and studded – to test out. I drove a very slow 5 mph first lap in an Audi Q5 with snow tires, and three hours later I had driven two Audi’s, a Porsche Cayenne and had an exhilarating joy ride with a Pikes Peak Race driver in an Audi Quattro – the coolest.

Although, their goal is to have your food in a delivery car for less than 10 minutes, so there is a limited delivery zone.

This sums up El Five: Tapas de Gibraltar, an Edible Beats Restaurant in the LoHi neighborhood of Denver. El Five is decorated with 1950’s and 1960’s Egyptian move posters, highlighted by hexagonal mirrors and mosaics, an homage to Arabic décor of the Gibraltar region. This is the perfect venue to propose (hint hint), a fun night spot before going out with friends, and even a great place to take mom and dad when you’re showing off your new city. According to our server, Justin Cucci, the chef and restauranteur of Edible Beets Restaurant Group, which brings us El Five, lived in Israel, which influenced some of the dishes at El Five.

I’m not talking about your rich uncle’s place in Aspen, but rather Kevin Taylor Restaurant Group’s newest restaurant concept, Hickory & Ash. The ideas don’t stop there, visit a friend in the Broomfield community, walk through it to the Four Noses Brewery (feel free to bring your four-pawed friend), take your furry  friend to the dog pool next door to the brewery, or simply go for a bike ride or jog on the nearby path. We’ll walk you through the five course menu and drink pairing we experienced, but I have to say there is a cocktail for everyone, and even if you’re more a vodka cucumber drinker (me)… the tequila, gin, and whiskey drinks are just as delicious and were presented perfectly to complement each dish. The Arista Place Limeade paired perfectly with the passed appetizers of Chicken Wings, Lobster Bisque Soup, and Burrata Toast.
