I have some exciting products that came in at the end of last month / early this month and I'm excited to photograph some new content as well as catch up on a ton of things that I've let slide over the last few weeks (erm - months). I've done pretty swell with my empties posts over the past year and if giving things a good test for a month or two and then passing them on is what needs to be done, so be it! I hate saying spending ban, it should be more like a stricter and more mindful way of spending and adding new products to my collection. But I think having a ton of products to test out makes it a bit easier, and my "Ulta Cabinet" of products makes it feel like I'm going in and shopping every day!

If you've been around these parts of my blog recently you'll know that I've been doing some major nude lip hauling in the past month or two. Very Victoria is a browny-rose which is a great muted nude, I love pairing this with a cream eyeshadow for a soft smoky look. When I'm going for a classic statement look, I'll usually pair Bond Girl, which is a deeper plummy rose, with a strong winged liner and layers of mascara. It's particularly great to wear to work as you don't have to worry about it smudging, fading in the center, or being a high maintenance product to reapply throughout the day.

With all the new found time, sans the horrors of commuting and traffic, I've been able to contribute a lot more time to this little space. I've been toying with the idea of moving my blog to a new platform, one that offered more options for personal customization and a lot more creativity. But I have a rather large knowledge of TV shows, actors, and have a pretty good idea of how TV shows will take a spin. When I thought about whether an interest in beauty could be a hobby, such as watching YouTube videos, reading blogs, and experimenting with different makeup products.
