my homework may not be done, but I sure am 💁🏻‍♀️ *long heartfelt post ahead* As I gear up to take my state board, I can’t help but be emotional. I’ve never been good at school. I didn’t fit in in high school, four year university didn’t work out, nor did community college. I always felt out of place and like I didn’t belong. Then I started beauty school and everything changed. I got to learn about stuff that I loved and practice on clients. It wasn’t always easy, I met lots of people. Some liked me, some didn’t. From getting super sick and having to get my tonsils out. It always seemed to be something. But I’m proud to say after a lot of work I finally found my family at @fhaaesthetics whom I love to death and an amazingly selfless teacher that goes out of her way for us and as I get ready to take state board, I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Some days I wanted to quit. But I didn’t and I’m so close to be doing what I love. I know I’m not always the best with vocalizing my feelings and I crack jokes more often than not, but I would like to genuinely thank my family and friends that supported me no matter what, who let me practice on them, I honestly could not have done any of it without y’all. Thank you for never giving up on me. Look at me becoming an esthetician and shit. 💁🏻‍♀️
