How We Got Here Founder Maria Malavenda created EVVEMI to blend the human element of a personal beauty concierge with high-quality hairstylists and barbers, and proprietary algorithms. She made the first EVVEMI hairstylist match experience out of her Menlo Park apartment in 2017, and today the company has brought the personal beauty concierge experience to men and women within California. The company was born out of Mariaâs personal frustration after moving to Silicon Valley. She suffered from multiple attempts at trying to find a decent hairstylist on-line. The horror she experienced with the multiple â5 Star Recommendedâ hairstylistsâ âmishapsâ not only brought about issues with her hair, it impacted her confidence in a way that sheâs never experienced. We all deserve someone that understands and is equipped to deal with our personal hair (and health) challenges that impact our overall beauty. You see, there are several âhacksâ that are behind the chair, individuals that practice without a license, many of whom havenât been back for continuous education to strengthen their skills and expand their knowledge base.
