Yesterday I found out I have to do continuing education courses the rest of the week because of some oversight by our licensing department going all the way back to 2016 when I moved back to SC. I’m normally all for anything that gets me out of my normal job but these courses are so boring. Literally just reading the world most boring textbook for 8 hours a day and then taking a test. And I can’t even really multitask because unlike our usually training this isn’t narrated

Atticus ate an entire (new) bag of hamburger buns today. We really need to move the bread to a higher shelf in the pantry because he’s eaten like 2 loaves of bread, a package of tortillas, an entire bag of mini bagels and now 2 bags of hamburger buns in the last 2 monthsJimmy’s We’re going to the zoo on Saturday, then celebrating my birthday & Easter on Sunday. I don’t really feel like I have the energy to have all that checked out right now

Imagine taking the time to stop doing your mandatory training to go locate your hood latch (because for some reason you own a car but aren’t confident about where that is) only to put your car in drive instead of park and you get run over and die. I bet they added this disclaimer after too many deaths piled up.

And what’s even more ridiculous is that there is currently a bill that if passed would bar the IRS from creating a free electronic filing system for everyone. Because god forbid we do that and hurt the profits of the businesses that make money off everyone paying their taxes
