I remember when blazers made a comeback around 2009-2010 and I would wear them EVERYWHERE — literally from work, to out to a bar, to any semi-formal event (since it was acceptable to wear with dresses)

It looks gorgeous with my black jeans and wedges, but it looks JUST as cute dressed down with a pair of light wash denim and mules. You can also pair with a pencil skirt to dress up for the office or a pair of cutoff denim shorts and boots for festival season. I’m all about the cute coffee house vibe and Marissa and I are always looking for the best spots to work from — cute coffee houses always give us major inspo and get those creative juices flowing! This can be a toughie and a dreaded shopping experience… believe me, it’s taken me FOREVER to find a few of the right pair, so I’m helping you out by trying on my 4 go-to pair that I break out for almost all occasions. These are super high-waisted with a 11.5 inch rise,  distressing at the bottom that get better and better with each wear. They definitely fit more boyfriend style and while they still are considered a high-waisted pair, they sit below the belly button with a 11.5 inch rise. They sit super high on the waist as well with a 12.25 inch rise.
