So the French are not known for their bright colours, that we appreciate, but when you take 2 colour cravers out of London, what’s a girl to do? Even if you mix a bright sweater with your best worn in jeans, or try a splash of hue on your feet like these fab strappy sandals we promise you it’ll bring a smile to your face. Take one piece as your colour pop and tone down with a neutral sweater & handbag like Alice here, or colour clash as Hannah has in hot pink & orange for a fashion forward fun take on bold shades. We’ll be the 2 standing out like {bright} sore thumbs {and lovin’ it}. Alice wears jumper by River Island, culottes by MSGM at Harvey Nichols {& similar here}, heels by Next, bag by Stacey Chan, gold cuff by Edge of Ember, ring by Edge of Ember Hannah wears skirt by MSGM at Harvey Nichols, jumper by MSGM at Harvey Nichols, heels by Next, bag by Chloé, scarf by Silken Favours, gold cuff by Edge of Ember, watch by Henry London Turn on your JavaScript to view content
The workshops took place at the beautiful Rooftop Terrace of the Ham Yard Hotel, and comprised of three workshop sessions by health food enthusiast Samira of Alpha Foodie and illustrators Scott W Mason and Dom of DOM&INK, each workshop allowing us to get experimental with food styling, fashion illustration and collaging. but it felt so good to unleash our creative streaks as it’s been a few years since we did these sorts of fun workshops when we both studied at The London College of Fashion. Food styling is a whole new world so we took away many tips on how to explore and experiment with breakfast ideas and our favourite thing of all ~ making food look pretty! The main thing we took away from the event was the importance of getting creative, giving yourself a few hours to feel inspired!
