CAE and Pinnacle Solutions prepare to deliver Littoral Combat Ship simulators to U.S. Navy Today at the CAE OneWorld virtual conference and tradeshow, CAE USA and Pinnacle Solutions announced their joint venture company Xebec will be delivering the first three Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Bridge Part-Task Trainers (BPTTs) to the United States Navy. The Navy is focused on navigation and seamanship training and these Littoral Combat Ship simulators will greatly assist in this endeavor,” said Michael Beard, Program Manager, U.S. Navy LCS Training Systems. Xebec is under contract to deliver four additional LCS BPTTs which will be delivered to the Littoral Combat Ship training facilities located in San Diego, California and Mayport, Florida. The fidelity and flexibility of the Littoral Combat Ship simulators we have developed will allow the Navy to deliver most of the personnel qualification standards training in a simulation-based environment,” said Ray Duquette, President and General Manager, CAE USA.

PINNACLE KC-10 TRAINING SERVICES SECURE OPTION YEAR EXTENSION

Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. was recently awarded a 6-month Extension of Services contract extension supporting the KC-10 Training System. The six-month extension valued at over $14 million is a firm-fixed-price effort that supports the original contract awarded to Pinnacle in December 2015 by the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Under this contract, Pinnacle operates and conducts training using Weapon System Trainer full-motion simulators, Flight Training Device non-motion flight simulators, Boom Operator Flight Trainers, Engine Maintenance Trainers, Main Landing Gear Trainers, and a Cargo Load Trainer. In addition, the Training System Support Center (TSSC), located in downtown Fairfield, California (10 miles from Travis AFB), supports both training sites with engineering support, courseware maintenance and development, configuration management, cybersecurity, information system support, and programmer support.

Pinnacle Solutions Supporting Boeing on MH-139A Grey Wolf Program

Inc. (Pinnacle) was awarded a subcontract by Boeing for sustainment and maintenance of MH-139A Grey Wolf, with a three-year period of performance. Under this Firm-Fixed-Price contract, Pinnacle’s Maintenance Support Team of FAA-certified technicians will conduct scheduled maintenance support and periodic/phase maintenance inspections, perform unscheduled and follow-on maintenance, and provide non-routine maintenance on MH-139A aircraft. The aircraft is based on a fully type-certified FAA FAR Part 29 helicopter and derives from the Leonardo AW 139 used by many governments, militaries, and private industry around the world. Pinnacle’s Maintenance Support Team will conduct contracted services on this aircraft at Duke Field, Eglin AFB, Florida.

PINNACLE DEVELOPING BLACK HAWK BLADE REPAIR INSTRUCTION – Pinnacle Solutions – Innovative Technologies

Inc. (Pinnacle) was awarded a subcontract for the development of a web-based informational and instructional product intended to enhance viewer understanding and accurately simulate the UH-60M Blade Repair Work Packages (WPs) using eLearning techniques and Army Aviation maintenance personnel input. Over the next six months, this eLearning product effort will result in the development of five WPs for Main Rotor Blade Repair – Skin and Core Plug Patch Repair; Lightning Mesh Repair; Inboard Trailing Edge; Anhedral Bond Line Repair Procedure; and Vacuum Bag and Cure Procedures. For each of these repairs/WPs, Pinnacle’s development team will perform a detailed assessment of the technical manual description and then select the best eLearning technique(s) to be applied to each instructional material package. Once finalized and approved by the customer, Pinnacle will deliver the UH-60M Blade Repair Work Package products on DVDs in HTML5 format.
