We photographed Kelly and Alex’s wedding there in 2016 and we loved the exposed brick, high ceilings and beautiful patio featured by this venue. Alex and Kelly enhanced the venue with flowers and candles and added a lovely Hispanic flare they with their taco bar and churro cake. If you’re planning on getting married there you may enjoy seeing some of the following photo examples of how they used the space and what the lighting looks like inside. I hope you enjoy these sneak peaks at Alex and Kelly’s wedding!
Taking time to journal offers us a few minutes to organize our thoughts which can lead to problem-solving, which in turn reduces stress associated with negative feelings and difficult scenarios. A simple and inexpensive way to be less stressed before the wedding is to spend a few minutes practicing meditation. A few minutes of conscious breathing and calming thoughts is a great way to restore inner peace and calm your nerves. Whether you are feeling stressed or just need a place to meditate, seek out your special corner of the world to gather your thoughts.
If you’re getting married on Kiawah, you’re most likely getting ready on Kiawah and that means that beautiful homes and beautiful nature will be at your disposal for photos. Sandy toes, salty breeze and pretty sunshine make for unforgettable moments and when it happens to also be your wedding day, this means you get to share these special moments with all the people that matter most to you. As photographers, we have attended many of such special days and we have a few tips to share: * ask your bridal party to forgo the sunglasses for a few of the photos * consider a microphone for your ceremony- if there’s a sea breeze some of your guests may have a hard time hearing your vows * choose a ceremony time as close to sunset as possible as the light gets softer and more beautiful at that time * for those with longer hair we recommend a fairly pinned hair style that allows them to relax on a windy day as opposed to constantly be managing the hair/wing/lip-gloss struggle 🙂 As I look back over some of the most extraordinary moments I have experienced as a wedding photographer I cannot help but mention Josh and Lia’s wedding at the The Sand Castle @
