Highlights
Amsterdam • Athena Study Abroad

The first day we went to the Van Gogh Museum and had dinner at a North African restaurant called “Bazar” The second day we woke up and ate pancakes at this cute restaurant that had a ton of rap music references on the menu & around the dining area. After that we wandered around and picked up some coffee until we had to visit the Anne Frank House. If you want to visit, you should purchase tickets online a few weeks ahead of your visit because they sell out quite fast.

Weekend Trip to Austria & Hungary • Athena Study Abroad

I book a trip to Budapest, Vienna, and Salzburg though this tour operator and was beyond pleased with my experience! Thursday: I left at about 4pm, and after a bus and 2 trains, made it to Florence by 8pm and we were off to Hungary by 9pm! After bathing/swimming, I joined a few people from the tour, and we got dinner at a restaurant near the hostel. After our walking tour, my roommate and I had a picnic in the Burggarten Garden!

Siena and Pisa • Athena Study Abroad

My roommates and I decided to take a day trip to Siena and Pisa. This trip was pretty low cost considering we traveled by train and didn’t stay overnight! Our train left Florence early in the morning and we came back around 10 pm which gave us the whole day to travel and visit the cities. If I had to do it over, I would spend less time in Pisa just because there isn’t much to do other than a few main attractions.
