I love that they brought some toys for their little to play with to make the session more dynamic and casual. Their family tea party is my favorite! I know their cherish those grandma and granddaughter photos forever. The Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto is also a new favorite portrait location – the flowers were so beautiful!

While it is a bit of a hassle and time suck making these posts, I LOVE looking back over the past 6 years and seeing my favorite images all in one place. It’s so rewarding looking back and seeing how much I’ve grown and how my style has evolved. I still LOVE all of the images from my first year and love having these time capsules from all of my couples and favorites days! This year was jam packed with so many amazing shoots and weddings, so I’m separating them into categories so it’s not too overwhelming.

Stephanie & Andy’s Tyge William Cellars wedding was such a fun celebration of their love and their close community. This was a designation wedding, and all of their friends and family flew out to celebrate the love birds. They had the most stunning fall colors on the vines, and the day was perfectly overcast to create a beautiful glow throughout the afternoon. My favorite part of the day was during the special dances, when Andy called each of his daughters up to dance with him, then had their son come run and jump in his arms at the end.

Alexa & Dan’s St. Francis Yacht Club wedding is near and dear to my heart and their celebration of their love was so incredibly special. Alexa & Dan’s love is so fun and playful, and they had a blast together before the ceremony smooching it up at the Palace of Fine Arts. She has the biggest blue eyes and the sweetest smile, and celebrating the love their adorable family had for one another made this day incredibly meaningful. Alexa is such a warm, bright, incredibly sweet person, and Dan is the perfect counterpart for her because he’s always making her smile.
