Happy New Year! Our family is excited to start 2019 with a bang and can’t wait for the Australia Day long weekend celebrations in the City of Perth. Celebrations run from Friday 25- Monday 28th January which means there will be plenty to do and lots of activities for the kids too
During the July school holidays we managed to get out of the house (despite the bad weather) and enjoy the City of Perth Winter festival. We started the festival with the the giant white ball pit set up in Yagan Square. After the white ball pit, we were in the spirit to see some snow – but pity it never snows in Perth The highlights were attending the Scitech show (where we learnt that a nappy could hold up to 2 litres of liquid! ) and creating a live polka dot art show like our very own Yayoi Kusama masterpiece.
This My First Take Along Set by BRIO, has been the perfect toy for Marnie because it something she can call her own – without her sisters claiming it! Marnie loves the bright colours and is as proud as punch that she can play this on her own – although on the odd occasion she has been known to share this train set… This post is part of the Childsmart’s Trial Club Program where I will be receiving products to provide an honest review. With every breakfast served, $10 was donated to Telethon. YUM! Scott Guerini is only 11 but he has already raised over $125, 000 for Telethon by walking!
