All I knew going in was that the trail was 4 miles round trip and rated as easy on AllTrails and let me tell you, this trail left me picking up my jaw off the ground all morning. Closer to moderate with all the snow Length: 4 miles (we ended up doing about 5 with all the exploring we did at the top along the PCT) Elevation Gain: 1,079 ft Mostly street parking. I did not see any signs about parking passes however most places in the national forests require them, especially when snow is on the ground so come prepared with an Adventure Pass or America the Beautiful pass Date hiked: 1/13/2019 We parked around 8am and geared up. her Ruffwear grip trex booties (I do not recommend these for extended wear in the snow as they are not waterproof), RexSpecs, and Musher’s Secret.
Designed with comfort in mind, this new travel bed is more than just a dog bed and it is overflowing with useful and versatile features We’ve been testing this bed over the last couple camping trips and have quite a lot of good things to say about it. The bed is a fold and go design with features such as: – bolstered sides (spoiler alert, our favorite feature) – memory foam – easy to remove waterproof sheets – rugged, durable materials – padded handles – stash pockets on the outside Keep in mind that the bed that you are seeing in pictures is a pre production model so the final model will be slightly modified. With the Spruce Pup bed, Fanc has the comfort of memory form no matter where she goes Not only is it great for sleeping on, it’s fold and go design makes traveling easier. The price point is higher than most other beds on the market, but when you look at dog beds of similar caliber (memory foam) and think about the added features and functionality of the Spruce Bed…it makes sense.
Toketee Falls is a stunning waterfall located in the Umpqua Wilderness in southern Oregon that has a constant flow year round. A easy, must do hike to do with your pup! Hike Difficulty: Easy to the lookout, if you decide to hike down to the bottom of the falls it definitely becomes more difficult Length:
If you’re visiting Oregon, a trip to the Columbia River Gorge is an absolute must! You can find incredible views and more waterfalls than you can imagine Unfortunately when we went, much of the Gorge was still closed from the devastating fires of last summer. Trails should start opening again in Summer 2018 but restoration is a long and tough process
