One of my favorite pieces to style is a nice chunky sweater (sweater sold out, sorry).Usually around mid August, when the weather begins to drop down to cooler temperatures, one of my favorite looks are chunky sweaters and shorts! Last week Geri and I went to the city for a photoshoot, and I opted to wear this look. I added some trendy pieces like these layered necklaces and I was rocking my news sneakers by Golden Goose. My 30’s taught me so much, many experiences, breakups, and had my first real heartbreak at 30, I also made awesome friends in my 30’s My 30’s gave me the most headaches and I had to learned to humble myself. So you see even if you start late, it’s better then never starting at all and for that I thank GOD.

I’m such a butterfly that doing nothing for me is out of the norm, but yesterday was exactly what I needed to feel free to soar my wings a little. Since we will be transitioning to fall soon, I’m stocking up on loose maxi dresses similar to this one so that you can wear a nice leather jacket and sneakers, or some booties with a denim jacket. I’m so glad I took the risk of going into the city and making the best out of our day!
