In referencing one of Jerry’s new projects, Jerry Before Seinfeld, Fallon showed a picture of a lifetime of Seinfeld’s material, in 8 ½ x 11 notebook form, patch-worked together on a street in New York City.
It’s the difference between telling someone it’s time to put away the crayons, or encouraging them to progress to more impressive medium.
For me, it’s been a great way of working on expanding my productivity in an organic manner, versus the linear approach to creativity, that can lead to the activity feeling like an obligatory task…one project at a time.
