Working from home, Managing kids' online learning setups, coordinating with their homework, meetings, my office work, cooking - it was a lot to take in suddenly. Kids got used to playing at home, learning online, got used to spending time without meeting their friends. I think, everyone suffered and I feel, kids have seen a new world due to covid at home. Kids didn't get an approved vaccine, but still, we are gearing up to send them to school for the upcoming school year.
We visited Colorado National Monument which is near Grand Junction, Colorado in last winter. Our favorite overlooks on the drive are : Balanced Rock at the west entrance near Fruita, book cliffs view(one of the best views) near west entrance, Independence monument view near the west entrance after Otto's trail, The first view of the park going up is this. Book Cliffs view near Window rock trail is one of the best views of the park. He hoisted the American flag on June 11th to celebrate Flag day and from then, he made ascent every Independence day to hoist the American flag to celebrate Independence day.

Part 3 of our Southwest Colorado trip. Crested Butte and Curecanti Recreational area. Curecanti Recreational area is a series of 3 reservoirs along the Gunnison River. The area is best for boating, hiking, and fishing. Morrow point boat tours is one of the highly recommended tours to cruise through the canyon. 🛥🎣We missed it as we didn't have enough time.🏞 Crested Butte is popular as winter heaven. In this winter, let's explore some warm places a bit far from Colorado.🌡 White Sands is the world's largest Gypsum dune field. With white everywhere, even our eyes strained a bit. The dunes were white with soft sand.🏜 White Sands national park is located in a dessert in the Tularosa Basin of New Mexico. I thought I would get bored of snow staying in this mountain state for more than a year. But, there is a lot to see and experience in the Colorado state. 😃 This month,exactly 3 years ago we visited Steamboat springs. This place is famous as a home to around 86 Olympic Champions and for its popular ski area. 🥇 The town also has hot mineral water springs which are known for their therapeutic properties. This book has 2 chapters inside. The first chapter walks through the steps to load the dishwasher and help parents. The second chapter teaches some important table manners. 😃 My 6yr old loved the illustrations and tone. He learned how to load the dishwasher. He loved the funny names used in the book like Forkman, Clara cup, Spoondude, and knifeguy. 🍽 The illustrations are so cute. Especially the expressions of Forkman came out well and interesting. 👌 I would highly recommend this book to children from 3 to 7 years old. The book cover is perfect and the title 'What's That Noise?' is funny and apt. #decbooklove has increased my reading time. So many suggestions added to TBR.📚 Our local library is renting e books to read on Kindle directly through libby app. What to say about this book? It's a classic with interesting turns in the story, maintaining suspense till the end. This is my first book of Agatha Christie's. Even though she is popular, I thought the style might not interest modern readers/ millennials. Seems like Iam wrong.
