How To Style Headbands Into Your Twenties

So today, I’m going to share some of my go-to hair accessories along with how to properly style headbands in your twenties. When you think of hair accessories as an adult, most women think about investing in practical options like hats, earmuffs and hair ties; but today I want to remind you all that you CAN in fact style headbands and other feminine hair accessories, like barrettes and bows; into your twenties, thirties and beyond. Personally, I have wicked dry hair which means I try to wash my hair at least every other day; which can be an issue in the winter when my hair is extra flat. Okay, so that’s how I’ve been styling headbands into my twenties; and I encourage you to consider investing in a few new hair accessories before we head into the most hectic time of the year.

New Englander's Guide To Glastonbury, Connecticut

This week, I wanted to sit down with you all and share one of my favorite towns in all of Connecticut, in fact, it’s the town where I grew up and a town I try to visit quite often Glastonbury Connecticut. Recently I’ve gotten quite a few emails asking for recommendations on which towns to visit in Connecticut, and while I’ve touched on the shoreline many times; I figured I’d share this town with you all and a little more information about central Connecticut. On that note, if you don’t have time for a full sit-down meal, or time to wait in Ken’s Corner’s line I’d recommend grabbing a chocolate chip muffin at Harpo’s Bakery… Next up I would recommend checking out Belltown Hill Orchard’s for apple and berry picking from May until October; and don’t forget a ride across the Connecticut River via the historic Rocky Hill – Glastonbury ferry, that began operation way back in 1655, during the summer.

We Purchased Our First Home & Giving Thanks

Together, Matt and I began our search for our first home back in May, and…with two VERY different visions of what we wanted in a home, our search differently had some highs and lows After striking out, open house after open house, we quickly became frustrated and I knew, we had to go back to that first house. We are going to share more details about our home buying journey, along with the renovation we have in store,  in our new YouTube series, OUR HOUSE . make sure to head over to YouTube to subscribeI honestly can’t believe we are publishing this post, so surreal, but with that being said make sure to head over to YouTube to subscribe and get ready for the launch of OUR HOUSE next week.
