Twenty something blog with a mixture of lifestyle, food and fitness.
March has been a good month and busy with lots of things going on, so here’s five happy things that happened this month. Notting Hill is one of my favourite films, and if I’m ever not sure what to watch in the evenings, Notting Hill is bound to be one of my top choices. Sometimes I get to do fun things with work, and this month I got to spend the day at google’s offices learning about all things google ads. In April I’m looking forward to having a roommate move in with me, so some of March has been spent getting their room ready.
I’ll do a blog post on it soon once it’s all finished, but already it looks like such a transformation and I’ve spent less than £150 I think! I’ve really enjoyed trying out lots of vegetarian recipes and so far everything I’ve cooked from Deliciously Ella’s books has been spot on. I’ve also eaten a lot more cheese since December too! So there you have it, aside from that I’ve been doing a lot of yoga, watching a lot of TV, and having a lot of cuddles with the cat.
Excitingly my baby brother (who’s not really a baby anymore) proposed to his long-suffering girlfriend at Disney in Florida last month. Whilst it’s good to get a real in depth understanding of the asanas, the philosophy side is something completely new to me and so interesting. I admit, sometimes I feel completely overwhelmed by the theories and philosophies, but it’s so interesting to learn about and there’s so much of it that resonates with my thoughts and beliefs. I’m planning to do a full blog post on my experience so far, if that’s something you’d like to read?
After going to a few different craft fairs over the past 12 months with Annie I feel I’ve got a good sense of what a good craft fair should be. Bird feeders in tow, Annie and I had a couple of hours to kill before our next workshop and so headed into the first tent to see what was on sale. In the first tent there was plenty to buy, but excitingly, Annie and I spotted Tilly from Tilly and the Buttons selling beautiful patterns, conveniently located next to Fabrics Galore, with some stunning fabrics. After going back and forth to their stand throughout the day Annie and I headed back to see if I could get a photo with Liz
