Happy Wednesday! We made it halfway through the week and I honestly can’t wait for the weekend. There’s nothing like plans to make you want to hurry the week along
One of my favorite things to do when I’m shopping is to find very versatile pieces that can be styled multiple ways and through multip;e seasons. It’s kind of like going on a fashion treasure hunt; you don’t know what you’re going to find, but when you do find it, you know it’s exactly what you wanted
For the longest time, I have been slightly nervous about styling a graphic top, simply because I didn’t think I could pull it off. However, with a lot of Pinterest searching and blog reading, I finally realized that graphic tops aren’t that scary, you just have to have the confidence to step out and wear them. So, when I got this graphic sweater as a hand-me-down from my sister ( who is actually younger than me, so a hand-me-up? ), I fell in love with it and started to think of ways to style it. And there is the secret to styling something that is a little bit out of your comfort zone; whatever the item is, pair it with other things that you love to wear and make you feel confident and you can pull off any style out there.
For some weekend inspo, I’ve got a few different ways I have styled a cargo jacket. White jeans really make a cargo jacket pop and add that nice transition look from cooler weather to warmer. Here I paired the jacket with a more polished look, but the jeans keep the outift from looking over done. Ok, so my leggings aren’t real leather, but this look is very chic and you can find fake leather leggings that look exactly the same.
