It’s that time of year, when the world falls in love.

There is so much heart and caffeine and left/right/up/down taps to get the perrrrfect spacing and also maybe a little sweat put into making these designs that can take months to create and prepare and announce and finally reveal you (and me! ). I created a Paris coffee table book fillllled with my inspirations from our favorite city. So, when Blurb asked me to create a book that would inspire creativity in others, I knew just what my muse would be. Now I have a book that sits proudly on our bookshelf and, as soon as we get a house with a coffee table, then it will sit proudly perched on the coffee table. So, this is my nudge to you – you should create that product magazine or that lay flat photo book of your favorite photos or maybe even that cook book you’ve been thinking about, you little chef, you.

I hope you meet criticism with a strength and knowledge that there is always more to learn, whether it be on your part or the compassion and courage to open the other’s eyes to a bigger world. I look forward to the questions you arise in us and the conversations we’ll have in years to come of the why’s and how’s We have chosen to live in a part of the world where we feel safe in ideology and judgment, but where we don’t take comfort for granted. When you look up to people, I hope that it’s strong characters like those who have given us hope in polarising times.
