In this post, I’ll share our trip itinerary, highlights and also a comparison to Aspen since I was asked that a few times on my Instagram stories. While we didn’t get the gorgeous mountain scenery on the drive, it was the right move to get the kids tired for bed and let them sleep in the next day. Two friends in our party stayed downtown and a shuttle provided transportation to and from the mountain, so if you want be close to all the good restaurants, bars, and town center, that’s something to consider. While at Aspen, there is no ski school at Aspen mountain, so you need to take a shuttle to Buttermilk for example.

If you’re ready for it all, I’m sharing a few of my favorite summer styles. From maxi dresses to easy breezy looks, summer time is all about a comfortable dress. I usually have to pick up a few sandals as I’ll wear a pair I love into the ground. If you are planning a summer vacation, staycation, or just ready to go outdoors in the sunshine, I hope this post was helpful!

In my younger years, I would seriously click on any headline that divulged all the trends and hot colors of the upcoming season. I would have fun picking out colors that would look like I knew what was fashionable – oxblood, gen z yellow, jewel tones! I mean,  4 different black sweaters that I will wear for years will win any day over a chartreuse one. But I also have some basic black tees from amazon that would look great as well.

If you’re new around here, I’m a fitness instructor and teach class at a studio in Alexandria, Virginia on Wednesday mornings and a few times on the weekend. Since not everyone can get to my classes, I do a quick mini reel and share 3-4 moves on Instagram – like this ball exercise. We’re headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for an end of the season ski trip, will most likely make some shamrock cookies as a fun St. Patrick’s Day activity with the kids, and get some Spring styles going!
