🥹🥹 I can’t

One of my favorite moments since we started buslife. Can barely see it but i swam with two turtles in this spring and it made the whole experience too damn cool. Moments like this just solidify that nature identifies me as a trout.

To the small moments 💯

We started making our own bone broth after binge watching 5 or 6 seasons of Alone on Hulu. We were so impressed with how much we learned about sustainability and being self-reliant. It felt like it was an essential part of preparing us for life on the road. It’s been about a month of living in our off grid tiny home and I’m constantly in awe of how the sun is literally powering our entire lives and allows us to turn our food scraps into delicious bone broth. We love making our own food and knowing exactly where it comes from, not to mention it’s a way for us to be mindful of our waste! We freeze our bones along with some veggies (this one had turkey, chicken, shallot, garlic, sweet potato and carrot), put everything into our pressure cooker and let it marinade! Thanks to the portability of our Anker Powerhouse 767, we can cook our bone broth right on the water. I noticed that my mind was stuck in a past memory or dreaming of a future moment.. it was hardly ever with me in the present.. My mind got so good at keeping me busy that I never fully allowed myself to enjoy just being. I tricked myself into thinking that only fulfilled dreams and big moments were worth celebrating and appreciating, all the other moments were just passing by. I didn’t fully realize that all these passing moments were actually adding up to the bigger moments and that each moment was setting the stage for the next moment 🤯 So now I’m learning how to calm my mind, to appreciate each moment for what it is. To allow myself to feel the full spectrum of emotions as they come. To BE human. Because now I know that all these small moments are what make life big ♥️ 📢@jayshetty

Floating through a fairytale in Florida ✨

2 months Post Op after Explanting 💪 It feels like a lifetime ago already.. my appearance has completely changed, yet for the first time in my life I finally feel like I see myself. I feel a love for myself that goes beyond what I look like. A connection to my truth that isn’t trying to please anyone else. It’s been a complete shedding of all these pieces that I had been carrying that weren’t mine and digging deep within to find the pieces that are. So not only do I look different..my priorities have changed, my interests have changed, my values have changed. I’m not the same person I was 2 months ago and I’m learning how to be okay with that. There have been so many growing pains but I’ve finally accepted that I’m not perfect and I never will be. I am working everyday to let go of any expectations I have for myself or others and I am so dedicated to being the very best version of myself that I can be, no matter how long it takes. The most important thing to me is living authentically in my full expression, whatever that looks like. I keep asking myself this question.. are you willing to give up who you are, for who you will become? The answer for me is a full body fu©️k yes! So this is me, Gabi and I’m in the midst of becoming.
