It’s debatable whether I am capable of taking care of any dog that has had previous ownership, specifically a dog that most likely has their own share of trauma and physical/health/mental problems. But alas, my dad wasn’t into the idea of hair all over the couch, so we adopted a five month old beagle instead. I paid for my beagle, named him Todd ironically after the fox from “Fox and the Hound”, with my advanced red packet (lol) and happily lived with my fluffer for fifteen years until he died of old age. Breeders are the ones with the original dogs and some sell off the puppies to stores, who sell them to customers wanting puppies, who sometimes end up take more than they can handle and abandon those darlings.

Now that I’m no longer furloughed from the cafe and have a new job as a receptionist, I don’t feel an instant panic of finding a passion and a new job that will satisfy my ikegai. know if we’ll hang out unless it’s a work outing, but I think I’m okay with that. I was a bit naive to think coronavirus would be over by Halloween let alone by the end of the year, but I like to think it was more hopeful thinking. PERSONALLY KNOW, ANYONE IN YOUR LIFE) need to catch coronavirus for you to understand the importance of wearing a mask when you go out, and the importance of basic hygiene of washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, then maybe you are one of the few human beings who should catch it and deal with the repercussions of its effects on a human body and everyday life.

I prefer to not leave my partner alone for Thanksgiving (or Christmas), so I’ve been trying to convince him to carpool back home with me if my brother does plan to go back. My partner suggested to fly, but I mentioned the hassle of having to test ourselves before we head out, test again right before we leave the Bay, and probably test again when we come back (to make sure we didn’t catch anything at the airport). Even with all the tests for COVID-19, I don’t think I’ve completely convinced him yet to come along with me because the alternative, and original, idea is to drive for just about 10 hours. There is still time to figure this out, so we shall see whether we’ll have to video chat in on the dinners through screens or if we’ll be able to smell and enjoy the food in person.

I’m checking in/out people when they’re here for an appointment and done with their appointments. I’m not sure what Pam did majority of her work day!
