I’ve been learning that it’s not always better to “be busy,” but to leave gaps in our life for the in between-allowing ourselves to spend more time with Jesus. One of my favorite quotes so far is, “the solution to an over busy life is not more time. Dear 2021, You were a year of so many accomplishments, but many trials. We bought our first car together, traveled to places on our bucket list, I earned my white coat, and I finished my first Boston Marathon. Mark and I grieved the loss of his dad and learned how to prioritize our relationship when we were both beyond busy with school and his entrepreneurial feats. But most of all, we grew closer to God this year and trust that the best is yet to come. My goal for the next year is to be more present in the moment, be on time more consistently, stay in my own lane and not compare my life to someone else’s and to practice gratitude every day. my favorite turkey 🦃 running the local turkey trot is one of my favorite thanksgiving traditions.
