Just returned from an amazing month long road trip through Florida, and of course, had to use this audio to recap our journey!🌴 From the charming beach towns of 30A to the laid-back vibes of Key West, Florida absolutely delivered! Wrapping up #NationalParkWeek with one of my all-time favorites: Bryce Canyon National Park! From towering hoodoos to stunning sunsets, this park is pure magic. Hiking here felt like stepping into another world! Its rugged beauty literally took my breath away. 🥾🫶 Here’s some tips for visiting the park: 👇 1️⃣ Rise & Shine: Arrive early to beat the crowds; we found the park and trails got busy by mid-morning. 2️⃣ Plan Ahead: Check trail conditions beforehand to ensure your chosen routes are fully open. 3️⃣ Hike, Don’t Just Drive: While driving to the viewpoints is convenient, hiking allows you to immerse yourself in the park’s beauty and explore its depths. The hoodoos and rock formations are even more breathtaking when you’re right beside them! (I highly recommend Navajo Loop + Queen’s Garden Trail combo) 4️⃣ Take Your Time: Even though it’s a smaller park, there’s plenty to see here and I recommend spending at least one to two full days exploring the park. 5️⃣ High Altitude: At 8000 feet, Bryce Canyon can catch some visitors off guard. If you’re not accustomed to high altitudes, you might feel short of breath or struggle on more challenging hikes. Give yourself extra time to hike, even on the easier trails. 6️⃣ Best Time to Visit: Bryce Canyon is open year-round, busiest from May to October. We went in September and found it quite busy. For a quieter experience, aim for November or April. Winter offers stunning views, but watch out for snowstorms causing road closures. ‘Save’ this post for later trip planning! ❤️
There’s simply nothing on earth quite like the Grand Canyon. #earthday 📍Hike- South Kaibab Trail to Skeleton Point Hiking the South Kaibab Trail to Skeleton Point in the Grand Canyon was absolutely stunning, but let me tell you, it was challenging! Heading down was a breeze, but the climb back up was a serious workout. This Canyon hike was a whole new experience for me compared to my usual mountain hikes, where the difficulty usually begins at the start and ends with a downhill descent. Despite its difficulty, I would still highly recommend this trail—it’s definitely worth the challenge! Just be prepared for the uphill climb with tired legs, and don’t forget to pack enough water! 🥾❤️
Utah’s Mighty Five is a dream! 🙌🏽 Today marks the first day of #NationalParkWeek and all of the US National Parks are offering free entry! It’s the perfect time to explore a new park or rediscover an old favorite. 🥾🫶 Are you planning to visit a national park this week? Share which one you’re most excited to explore!👇
