garden fresh pesto pasta! This is my favorite time of the year cause of all the yummy food! This is a great easy dish and the pesto can be used for so many different things! I added mine to pasta (cooled slightly) cherry tomatoes and burrata for an easy but delicious meal! Pesto Recipe : 2 cups basil (doesn’t need to be exact) Handful walnuts 2 Garlic cloves 1/2 cup olive oil (or more if you want it a little thinner) Blend together in food processor then stir in about 1 cup pecorino Romano cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper Use for pasta, eggs, meat, sandwiches or whatever else you can think of! #gardenfresh #pesto #gardentotable #summerbasil

tips for making your cut hydrangeas last longer - Cut your biggest/most mature blooms they will be the strongest and last the longest (as long as they aren’t starting to brown to much) Add flower food to your bucket (I save extras from the store and you can buy some online) Cut stems at a diagonal angle then cut a slit (this will help them get more water) Let them sit in the food water over night or for a few hours - you can also just arrange them directly in your vase but this is easier if your making multiple arrangements! Once they start to wilt (at the first sign of possible) or even if you can catch them before they start to wilt soak them for 1-2 hrs in water to revive them Hope these tips help! A flower frog! I’ve totally posted about this before but felt like it’s so handy for flower lovers I’d post again! It’s a little spiky circle you can stick your flower stems in to keep them in place - for me this helps me need less flowers (perfect since I want hydrangeas EVERYWHERE but also want them outside too 🤣)and no taping before hand!
