A lot of people asked me if I was going to do a post about having reached 100k followers, so here goes my version of it: I don't think the number matters at all. At the end of the day, what matters is if my work made someone feel good about themselves. If my photos, things that I write, topics I talk about on my podcast, touch some people's lives in any way, then I know I am doing my job. So here is a toast to all the women out there that work so hard like me, and are trying to accomplish great things. Are you proud of your heritage? Did you ever suffer any kind of prejudice? I have been told I don't look Latin because I am blond. I have been told to lie to clients and brands and say I am only European to get paid more. I have been told I did not possibly go to school in CA because I never lost my accent. So here I quote @themarthabeck "Integrity is the cure for unhappiness, because when we're being absolutely true to ourselves, there's nothing that tears us away from what we deeply know to be true." In other words: always be yourself, nothing else!
