Baby led weaning (BLW) is completely skipping purees and mush foods and giving babies the chance to feed themselves. If your baby seems interested in foods, I personally recommend baby led weaning. Baby led weaning should start no earlier then six months of age is baby is interested. Baby led weaning should be used along with Bottles/Nursing until at least twelve months.
