If you celebrate Christmas, here are some activities that you can do during this holiday season (socially distanced and with a mask on of course). There are plenty of great holiday movies you can watch like Elf or The Grinch. You can order cookie kits from many different bakers that come with the cookies already baked and the icing colors you need. Check your local ice skating rink to see if they will be open this year.
As we round out 2020, this is also the time when many families and friends get together to celebrate holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa, etc. This has been an especially difficult year for many, as people have lost several family members and friends due to Covid-19. Holidays can be sources of triggers for people, and here are some tips on how to try and deal with the holiday season as best as you can. During get togethers, you can light a candle in remembrance, say a few words about the person/people, or leave an empty chair around the table for your loved one.

Make sure you check with your program and find out what happens if you don’t pass and be prepared to take the necessary steps if that happens, but don’t entertain these thoughts. If you are given the questions ahead of the time have an outline or notes ready. Try to come up with an outline of what you think you would write or have the articles that you think you might use already downloaded and in a folder in Google Drive. Depending on the culture of your program, those in the cohorts ahead of you may naturally provide some advice for you, but if this is not automatically done, you can reach out to them and ask for pointers.
