Edison, our children are your biggest fans....and with good reason. You are such an amazing Dad! You are patient, understanding, and so forgiving as a parent. You are the favorite parent by far. Evan admires you in a way that a son admires a hero. Ava is so fearless and confident because of how you love her. Mason is able to explore the world and allow his curiosity to flourish because you are right there leading him. And I can’t wait to see you love on our newest baby in a few weeks. Popping in to say I’m still here. Not a photo shoot pic or perfectly curated shot, just a pic that was snapped of me after my appointment today....35 weeks!! This pregnancy has really flown by....I’ll be holding my newest bundle soon and I can’t wait. There is a lot of life happening outside of these squares....and if I can be transparent....I’ve been trying to honestly just keep it together these days. But with just 5 weeks until my due date I’m reminded that the number 5 is the number of Grace. My message to myself today is that I’m graced for it. I could mention a list of things that have me feeling overwhelmed but it doesn’t really matter....whatever it is I’m GRACED for it ALL....and so are you.
Who’s getting ready for a #MemorialDay cookout? Outside is open. Menus and plans are being made....and we are all looking forward to the extended weekend. I made this cheesecake a couple of years ago and posted on my blog....and it’s still a winner. It’s rich but not too heavy, easy because it won’t have you in the kitchen all day but will taste like the effort was definitely there. The berry topping is just superb.... You just can’t lose with this one. I’ll be sharing this recipe so that you can give it a try yourself.
It’s the middle of the week family...how are y’all holding up? So far I’ve done devotional, cooked breakfast, went for a walk and the kids are currently doing their work. This week I hit #28weekspregnant Officially in the 3rd trimester and countdown to baby is soon to be begin. I started this pregnancy not at my ideal fitness goal. I never fully got “back” to myself after Mason so I’ve been mindful to make this pregnancy as healthy as I can. I didn’t have a workout routine before and pregnancy is no time to start one.....I have however been making sure I least get a walk in and eat as healthy as possible. Not to lose weight or prevent weight gain but to make sure I’m staying active and feeding me and baby properly. I’m enjoying this last pregnancy of mine and everything that comes with it......not putting any pressure on me to look a certain way or how much weight I’m gaining. But moms what are your favorite ways to be active during pregnancy?
