I fell in my first race, I was bandaged up by the amazing people at medical, I laughed with them because I felt like I was wrapped in bubble wrap…..then the next day I won silver and I got a huge PR! (Even while I was groaning in pain!) For me, it is all about mindset. I went through a lot and I was also the youngest in my heat. All in all, I am SO happy how The Paralympic Trials turned out. Day 2 of The @teamusa Paralympic Trials is complete! Last night, I was up until midnight staring at the ceiling OVERTHINKING about what happened. I was replaying every step of the 200. Tonight made it all worth it. I ran a career best at the biggest meet of my life. I am beyond grateful and excited for tomorrow.
