Word of the Year and Starting Fresh

I’m so excited to chat with you a bit on the idea of a word of the year and my process behind that, but before we dive in, first things first: 2017 is nearly gone, what in the ACTUAL hey-now? ! One of the things I have so loved doing the past 3 years is having a word of the year. There are many ways to come to a word of the year, but these are some of my favorite steps: I pray and ask the Lord to give me a word. This can look like the still, small whisper of His voice, having a re-occuring thought of a word or even having a word show up repeatedly in your life like you just can’t escape it.
