As much as I like taking and sharing fall photos, I’m starting to see people with snow pictures and it’s reminding me how winter is my favorite season to shoot in. I’m so proud of this puppy! We had our first indoor show today and he came out with Best of Winners for two more points towards his AKC Championship. The environment at an indoor show in very loud and different from what our last two shows were like, so I’m thrilled with how he showed and can’t wait to do it again tomorrow. Summer beach days are long over. This time of year, the water is chilly and the winds are strong. My favorite time to be here though is in the dead of winter - the lake is frozen over, very few people go out there, and it might remind you of the frozen arctic. After two long days of driving, I am finally home and reunited with these two. It’s amazing how much one can miss their dogs in “just a week” but I am so glad to be home with them. After this trip, I definitely want to minimize my travels without the dogs.
