The thought that my son is still experiencing and seeing racism like that of my great grandmother got me thinking. I’ve been trying to find books that really help explain racism to a child. In my search I’ve found books on bias against African Americans and how to be anti-racist. Here are some of the most recommended kids’ books for anti-racist and racism.

Think about the power we have to visualize something and have the ability to create and bring whatever it is to life. I focus on my breathing and positive thoughts and spend time in the sauna as a form of mediation and relaxation. In order to step into your new life and what you have envisioned for yourself, you must clear out all the old to make room for the new life you are manifesting. You have to be willing to put in the work, hours, dedication, and time to make your dreams come true.

While I do enjoy my sweatpants some days, I’ve found it motivating to get dressed in something closer to what I would normally wear if out with clients or visiting with co-workers, While working from home, it’s important to be comfortable, and because most of us are using Zoom you can easily get dressed from the waist up or wear looser fitting jeans/slacks. With 2021 kicking off and most of us are trying to jump start our goals to crush it this year, I figured we could use some updates in our wardrobe. I love adding to my closet items that can transition from work to going out. Silver lining- the best part about working from home is no need for shoes!

One thing I do believe in is creating a space when your guest come to visit that feels cozy (not too cozy that they stay longer than 48 hours) The first thing I wanted was a DIY Hat Wall and my husband was able to create one for under $8! The nice thing is this hat wall allows me to store my hats, but also serves as wall art in the room.
