While it’s no secret that the Fumo E Fucco from Hersh’s is one of my favorite dishes in Baltimore, as always I’m limiting this list to things I tried this year for the first time. This was another late in the year addition to the Baltimore dining scene but this dessert is something I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. It’s Jinji’s Chocolate with Olive Oil and a little flaky salt, genius and delicious. ChengDu Spicy Wontons at Reren Lamen in Washington D. C. A soup dumpling craving had me driving to D.C. on a rainy day last spring, but when I texted a friend for specific dish recommendations at Reren, she said we must order the Spicy Wontons.
All of their dining options are made with fresh seasonal ingredients – and the new Harvest Menu highlights the flavors of fall with a $29.95 three-course tasting menu. With toasted walnuts, Gorgonzola, and sherry-walnut vinaigrette this salad was light and fresh – a delicious way to start the meal. At Season’s 52, all of the desserts are called ‘mini-indulgences’ and they’re basically shot-glass sized versions of your favorite cakes. The Seasons 52 I visited is located at 10300 Little Patuxent Pkwy #3150, in Columbia.

Also the SunButter dressing is great for salads, noodles, chicken, and more add more if you'd like the dressing to be thinner Prepare the chicken. But after that, layer the veggies and chicken as you please with the heavier items on the bottom for a better balanced sandwich.
Personally, crab isn’t my favorite thing in the world, but when I see a recipe that is going to bring out the sweetness of the crab and of course add a little bit of heat, I am all for giving it a try. So, I’ve partnered with Soul Food Sessions to share their Charred Corn Crab Cake with Watermelon Rind Slaw recipe that will be served at their event on July 29th in Baltimore as part of The Table If you’re unfamiliar with Soul Food Sessions, they’re a movement to acknowledge and support people of color in the culinary arts, restaurant and hospitality industries, and beverage services. I’ve included the Charred Corn Crab Cake recipe below and the best thing about it is all of the ingredients can be picked up at your local Harris Teeter, including a Coke Life.
