It was the best experience ever 🥰. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve had health issues this summer and was so worried it would negatively affect our trip. Here’s my 2 weeks Dysport results 🥰. I’m so happy with it! I’m pushing up my brows as much as I can in the second pic, which isn’t much- lol! ⁣ I’ve heard that Dysport lasts both longer and shorter than Botox which is interesting. Obviously I’m hoping to get several months out of this, but we’ll see. I think the Botox I did in 2016 lasted around 4 months. Face to face Friday- wrinkle edition! 🤣⁣ ⁣ February 2016 on my way to my first ever Botox appointment with my 1 wrinkle I HATED. I got pregnant with Ivy 6 months later and life happened, so even though I loved the results, I didn’t do it again… until now. ⁣ ⁣ Fast forward 8 years and a 100 pound weight loss, and my wrinkles are significantly more prominent 😭. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been talking about redoing it since I lost the weight, and I finally did yesterday! I went with 26 units of Dysport in my forehead and around my eyes. Crazy that I am almost 5 years post bariatric surgery! 🤯 Being this far out, the lifestyle I adopted at the beginning of my journey is second nature. ⁣ ⁣ I still stick to a low carb/high protein diet because it works the best for me. ⁣ ⁣ I recently saw my doctor and my blood pressure is still in the normal range 🙌. If you remember, I was on 3 BP meds before surgery!⁣ ⁣ First pic was May 2018, second is May 2024. 6 years exactly. Happy Mother’s Day! 🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Family took me out for brunch and surprised me with some great gifts 🥰. In the afternoon my kids and I went to a local nature center where we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful day.

Have I ever shared my driver’s license photo? It’s truly terrible 🫣! It was taken in 2019, so just a few months before my VSG surgery. Second picture is from Valentine’s Day 2024. ⁣ ⁣ I thought it’d make a fun F2FF post bc last night I used my ID to rent an industrial fan (our laundry room flooded again and we’re staying at a hotel… I don’t want to talk about it 🤬), and the guy literally said, “had to do a double take on the picture, that doesn’t look like you!” ⁣ ⁣ I laughed and agreed, and quickly insisted it was me. Funny that after so long this is the first time anyone’s mentioned how much I don’t look like that anymore. ⁣ ⁣ Anyways, that’s it, that’s the post. Reminder to go for your yearly skin check! Had mine last week, and surprisingly didn’t need any spots biopsied. First time in over a decade I’ve gone a year without one 🥳. ⁣ ⁣ I also spoke with my doctor about my psoriasis and she gave me some samples of a new cream to try. I have a steroid, but repeated use can cause “thin skin,” which… no thanks 😳. This new cream isn’t a steroid and is ok for long term use, so I’m hoping it works. My psoriasis is very mild, so far just on my head and neck. ⁣ ⁣ If you’ve used Vtama, I’d love to hear your thoughts! And if your insurance covered it, my doctor said it might not bc it’s so new to the market.
