Having worked in the hospitality industry my entire adult life, I'm very excited for this new chapter in my life. I started Liquid Culture as a way to inspire Home Bartenders because I know we don't always make it seem easy. I primarily work with brands in terms of media production, including photography and content creation. I've run masterclasses around the city, examples including Jack Daniels and Glenfiddich. I'm also a frequent Drink Expert on CTV's The Social gaining nation-wide exposure. I'm looking to pair up with brands to share their stories through my many platforms.

All for a good dram 🥃 Whisky, especially Scotch, is something that holds a special place in my heart. I realized it was the first real spirit I invested time and effort into learning about, especially with the bar I worked at. If you didn’t know anything about Scotch, it was evident. This spirit got me more confident behind the bar and I realized there is just so much more to learn. And of course, there is space for scotch in cocktails. I actually encourage it. A LOT. That’s why I’m sharing this simple Julep here for the gram today. Oh and those SHIRTS?!? 👕👚 can be found on @redlipwhiskydiary ❤️ What will you be sipping for National Scotch Day? 🥃 Honey Scotch Julep 2 oz Glenfiddich 12 Yr Old (@glenfiddichwhisky ) 0.5 oz - 1 oz Honey Syrup (1:1) 12 Mint leaves (removed from stem) + 1 mint sprig for garnish In your julep tin, release the oils of the mint by giving it a smack. Place in the bottom of tin. Add in your scotch and syrup. Fill 3/4 of the way with crushed ice. Stir/swizzle until the liquid is well incorporated and at level with the crushed ice. Add in more crushed ice. Stir once more. Top with dollop of crushed ice and garnish with mint sprig. #nationalscotchday #drinkresponsibly #mintjulep

It’s the Hotel Cocktail Vibe we needed this Friday 🔥🍹🏖️ After 5+ years together, I can honestly say, I still get nervous, I can’t stop smiling, and I count all my blessings because this show brings me so much joy. Watermelon Cachaca Fizz 🍉 do I need to say MORE?!? Throwing away fruit is a sin in this household so I do my best to use all of it. But…it can be a lot, and when my toddler decides to not have a fruit diet for the day, it’s on me to finish. This watermelon was too good not to pass up, so I thought to shake it up in a cocktail for everyone. It’s simple, refreshing and the perfect serve this summer. Ready to taste? Well I’m sharing the recipe here for you! 🍉 Watermelon Cachaca Fizz 2 oz Cachaca (@cachacasalinas) 0.25 cup fresh sweet Watermelon 0.75 oz Lime Juice 0.5 - 0.75 oz Elderflower Syrup (@alambika) 0.5 - 1 oz Soda Shake all the above except soda. Scotch, Peaches and Summer never tasted so damn good 🥃🍑🌞 You all know my love for Glenfiddich and I’ve been a big advocate for Single Malt use in cocktails and this is no exception. This time around I bring together Glenfiddich Fire and Cane in this outrageously delicious cocktail. It combines a splash of Mezcal, Pineapple, lemon, honey syrup, peaches and of course Glenfiddich Fire and Cane Whisky. It’s easy to shake up at home, and may I say, it’s the perfect summer cocktail? At least for me it is! Plus, I’m sharing the recipe for you right here! The Smoky Peach 1.5 oz Glenfiddich Fire and Cane Whisky (@glenfiddichwhisky) 0.25 Ripe Peach 0.5 oz Mezcal 1 oz Pineapple Juice 0.5 oz Lemon Juice 0.5 oz Honey Syrup (1:1) Muddle Peach in a shaker. Add all your ingredients with a handful of ice and shake well. Strain over collins glass filled with ice. #Glenfiddich #GlenfiddichSummer #ad

Mama LC turns 60 TODAY!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If it isn’t obvious, my mom is my absolute everything. I owe her everything and I will continue to owe her everything til my last breath. She’s my rock, and she continues to say yes to all the craziness I put her through. So we’re celebrating this decade by checking out places she’s always wanted to travel. Life/Work update - mold problems lead to some much needed organization and I LOVE ❤️ This project was a long time coming, and although it happened at a terrible time, my OCD kicked in and we’ve got a completed project. Just wanting to give a big shout out to those who came through with the support and advice. The introduction of a wooden shelf for the wine + angel share + very poor circulation lead to the initial issue. Wanting to share the final result because so many of you came through with the love and concern. Plus your girl got to build out new shelves, which I’m one of those weirdos that loves to put furniture together 😂 #thriving #alsoexhausted

Let’s Talk Genever 🍸 *Recipe below* Wanting to share more love on Genever because a lot of people in Ontario just don’t know about this DELICIOUS gin style or have had very little access to it. So I’m just out here, letting you know it should be ON YOUR RADAR, because it’s so unique and brings something BEAUTIFUL to your Home Bar. With that said, wanted to share this stirred gem with you all ❤️ it’s become a favourite around here and hope you can find some Genever in your life. Have you tasted Genever? 1.5 oz Old Duff 100% Maltwine Genever @oldduffgenever 0.5 oz Affino Limone (@affinoaperitivo) 1 oz Lillet Blanc (@lillet) 1 barspoon Overproof Rum (@wrayandnephewcanada used here) 1 lemon zest. Royal Spring Flush with Royalmount Gin

With Spring officially here in Toronto, you can expect to see a ton of Gin cocktail recipes shared on the Liquid Culture platforms. With Royalmount Gin infused with Rose and Cucumber, I highlight this in the Royal Spring Flush Cocktail. Having the essence of a Gin and Tonic, I dress it up with additional Rose Water, Rose pedal Ice Cubes (optional) plus White Cranberry Juice! Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee with Licor 43

For today, I tried to create something that didn’t use just a “dash” of Licor 43, so I made this Coconut Mint Iced Boozy Cocktail that is hard not to love. Since I still had my bottle of Real’s Cream of Coconut around, I thought it would compliment the flavours going on in this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee. Choosing your Base Spirit for this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee I played around with this component for a bit. Since this cocktail has such strong flavours going on, you don’t want a spirit that will hide in this Coconut Mint Boozy Iced Coffee.
