Hi there, and welcome! I'm Lisa, a 56-year-old mid-life empty nester and all things beauty fanatic. I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today's crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and, most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Loving 50 and Beyond.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism at age 27 and Perioral Dermatitis at age 45. Both of the diagnoses bring skin and hair issues along with major skin sensitivity. I have to shy away from any products that are harsh and chemically-ladened.

The launch of my blog is to share with you my passion for clean quality products, reviews, and comparisons of makeup, skincare, and hair care. I hope to inform you and help look and feel your best.

My reviews will be quick and straight to the point so as not to waste your time. I prefer clean beauty products that perform and give results.
