I spent a day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort learning to ski and it was definitely a highlight of my trip. Although it was snowing on the day I enjoyed a fat tire bike tour with Teton Mountain Bike Tours (many other fat tire biking options are available, too!), I wouldn’t have had it any other way. What caught my eye were the activities offered on the mountain outside of skiing and snowboarding, and they should definitely be on any list of winter activities to do in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. A wildlife safari was at the top of my list of fun winter activities to do in Jackson Hole but there just wasn’t enough time.

I was able to get from mainland Athens to Greek islands via the Greek island ferries, but I recommend catching a flight. Because one should arrive at the airport well in advance, and it’s a trek to the airport, I figured the ferry would technically take the same amount of time. If you insist on trying out the Greek island ferries, which honestly make sense depending on where and how far you’re going, then I recommend purchasing directly through these websites: I paid 174.90€ total for ferries from Athens to Santorini, Santorini to Mykonos, and Mykonos to Athens. This beautiful island located in the Aegean Sea is just under 30 square miles but that doesn’t mean there isn’t much to do or see. This is the biggest town on the island of Santorini and offers array of restaurants, beautiful sea and town views, and gorgeous hotels. If you want panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and Santorini cliffs, then you’ll want to stay at the Porto Fira Suites. There is also free public parking within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel so if you do decide to rent a car, this is one of the best places to stay.
