John and I are foodies and love trying new recipes but with our hectic work schedules, the farm, and now baby Rhett we are prioritizing EASY recipes. This recipe goes great with my Paleo Instant Pot Balsamic Pork Chops or Instant Pot Tuscan Chicken Pasta Recipe. Today I used one whole onion sliced, a bell pepper that I seeded and sliced, and a yellow squash sliced and quartered. You can find great side dish ideas here or a few ideas for main dishes to pair with these easy sheet pan vegetables here.
One of my favorite hot beverages is an Earl Grey Tea Latte also known as a London Fog. A London Fog is traditionally made with milk, but since I have a dairy allergy I have adapted the recipe and am sharing my favorite version of vegan London fog! You can find the exact milk frother I use here, I like this one because it heats and froths simultaneously and it is always the perfect amount of latte foam. If you like this recipe, you can find more tea recipes here and coffee recipes here!
I recently had the opportunity to partner with Premera Blue Cross and read their white paper on the resilience of businesses after 2020. The information provided in the white paper combined with my personal assessment of my business lead me to share 2 ways to grow your business fast in 2021. Employees are working harder than ever to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and working from home even simple text messages or words of appreciation go a long way to let team members know that they are valued. If you would like to check out Premera’s latest white paper about Post-Pandemic Business Resilience to learn how Premera Blue Cross business solutions can make a difference for you and your valued employees, you can find it here.
We thought this because I was 3 cm dilated and 80% at my December 8th appointment and kept having contractions that would at times get to 4 minutes apart and 45 seconds in duration. We went to a Christmas party on the 18th, hosted Christmas morning at our house, then when there was still no baby we decided to host 7 of our closest friends at our house to celebrate the New Year. At 6:45am we called our doula, Lucia, to let her know that we were skipping ahead in the plan to go to the hospital because my contractions were 4 minutes apart and lasting about a minute. It was funny because we could not keep the bathwater hot enough from the bath faucet so John and Lucia took turns filling up a clean trashcan with hot water from the sink with the hottest water possible.
