This man has never gotten me sick in all my 19 years of celiac. He used to “taste test” my food for gluten. Make his own gluten free flour blends. Figure out how to make pretty much any food I wanted. And growing up / leaving the house it’s really given me a new appreciation for it. That’s a really special thing to have someone that cares so deeply about your health that they’re willing to truly bend over backwards to make you feel safe. Share this with whoever that person is for you to thank them for everything they do 💕

I’m tired just watching this back 😅 If it weren’t for @goultima I’m not sure I would’ve gotten through the day. With being a creator, building an app, trying to have a social life, and doing client work my days are usually pretty packed. Which means hydration is key to keep my energy up. I love that the Ultima packets have a super light and yummy flavor while also being 0 calorie, sugar free, made with stevia, and gluten free. Makes it so I can feel good about putting it in my body, especially in this heat 🥵 Head to the link in my stories so you can try it out for yourself! #ad #UltimaPartner

In honor of being in San Diego last week… Here are some of my favorite gluten free spots 😍 @nectarinegrove @breakfastrepublic @eateltianguis @innout @officinebuonaforchetta The croissant sandwich from Nectarine Grove was especially my favorite 🤤

Full story of what happened when I found a macaroni noodle in my food at a restaurant that claimed to be 100% gluten free and how the business responded!

Other bloat friendly foods if i listed something you’re sensitive / allergic to 👇 Cream of Rice Cucumber Berries Papaya Cinnamon What do you like to eat when you’re feeling bloated?

I did in fact ask them 3 times to confirm it was a dedicated fryer 😂 But I know that anxiety keeps me safe and that once it passes I have a great time. So worth it imo.

Recording anything in this household is chaotic 😂 But seriously I say this a lot so hopefully you’re not tired of it but the biggest lesson my parents taught me is to ask for what you need! It’s allows me to eat out with my celiac disease, travel, progress in my career, and so much more. The world is more open and accommodating than we sometimes give it credit for. Because at the end of the day you control your disease, your disease doesn’t control you 😉

I wanted to order a salad but then she told me they had a dedicated fryer… So whether i wanted it or not it t’was ordered and I did enjoy it 😂🙌

Every time I post about @innout on my story I get asked how I order it. So here it is. I didn’t ask about the fryer because I know fries are the only thing they put in there. One of my favorite safe / reliable options and the staff has always been super kind and helpful 🙌

Just a few of my favorite comments 💁🏼‍♀️ Always makes me laugh when people say things like “stay at home” or “just take a pill”. Like friends that’s not how this disease works 😂 We are normal people who are just trying to live our lives. Eating out is inevitable and many restaurants are more than willing to make accommodations. And there is no quick fix or pill to cure this disease. The only “cure” is eating a strict gluten free diet. But when you do get sick the symptoms are terrible. Like for me it’s 24 hrs of terrible stomach flu symptoms essentially. So my anxiety isn’t dramatic. It’s coming from a place of wanting to avoid that pain at all costs. To keep things positive out here drop in the comments below one thing you appreciate about your celiac disease. I’ll go first… I love being able to have a community that I can instantly connect and become friends with. Truly incredible.

It just looked a little too big and soft for my liking 🤔 My dad always used to this when I was younger but now it’s Josh’s job lol

Literally me 10x a day… because I ain’t afraid to ask for accommodations for my celiac but will ALWAYS be grateful for them.
