2023. 6 months in Israel to document for my great friend, Jaylen. 3 months all over the Europe to experience life. 1 month in Korea to reunite with family after 15 years. 2 months home in Oregon to focus on my first film. As I reflected upon what I did in 2023, this year was certainly a challenging year. But, I absolutely cherish every bit of difficult outcomes that have come through my way, because that’s the way of life. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be. (At least that’s what I think) I was able to dive deeper within philosophy in life, as I was observing and learning about life during my travels around the world. Having the inspiration of Andrei Tarkovsky, who has given me a brilliant reason to study philosophy. Which I am so glad I decided to pursue in philosophy. And later this year, I have stopped traveling after my trip to Korea because I wanted to take seriously with making films. So I studied filmmaking endlessly by observing other talented filmmaker’s work on Vimeo/Youtube and watching incredible feature films to learn deeper into the beauty of art in storytelling and filmmaking. Also.. last but not least, to the amazing people I met this year. Especially when I was traveling, Thank you for being in a small/big part of my life. In speaking of the short documentary film. I can happily announce that I am almost completed with pre-production on the film and the film will be officially shooting in mid-January after completing the casting. Hopefully aiming to finish the final film before the mid-2024. To sum it up, 2023 was definitely a blessing. Here’s to 2024 🤟

Hey y’all 👋 ㅤ Ever since I turned 21 a while ago, I have been thinking about starting my Instagram all over and here we go. I started this page as a photographer back in 2017 and fast forward to this day, I am very confident that I would like to be well known as a filmmaker rather than being known as a photographer. ㅤ I know most of you guys discovered my profile from the feature pages that reposted my photos/videos specializing travel and lifestyle. I really appreciate the support to some of those that have been keeping up with me since day one. Now, I want to keep my life “lowkey” on Instagram because I know social media is a distraction to my life so I thought I’d keep it low and distant to become more productive. ㅤ I won’t be posting “fine art” photos as much as I used to.. However I want to focus on uploading my professional work as a filmmaker on this platform and a little bit of my personal life as well. ㅤ As I discovered deeply into creating higher quality products rather than constantly creating them, I want to spend more of my time and effort into the most flawless piece it can be. ㅤ I want to build my career as a filmmaker, which brings up the idea of having my goal of becoming a director/cinematographer and eventually making movies someday. While I do that, I have always told myself that I want to be in a constant fear of not being able to know whether or not if I’ll be successful and that’s okay. Because I want to be proud of something that I did worth trying. That is the path I want to take, where I can constantly challenge myself as a filmmaker. To become better, to create art as perfect as it can possibly be, and hopefully inspire the some of you. ㅤ I hope y’all understand and thanks for following my journey. ❤️
