What a fun getaway to @kalahariresorts in Round Rock, TX. We decided to head over right after Christmas to keep the festive fun mood going all weekend long. Marc was on call, but was able to join us for all the fun on Sunday. I’ll share why I think @kalahariresorts is a must for you and your family and ways to get the best bang for your buck. 1. Stay the night and they have an amazing package that includes unlimited Tom Foolery rides and a $50 arcade credit... mmm what. 2. Come in as early as you want on the day of your stay to play at the water park... even before your room is ready. 3. Best times to play at the water park is right when it opens 10-12 and later in the evening... 6-9pm. 4. You can play at the water park till 3pm on the day of check out. 5. Arcade opens at 9 am so we hit up the arcade first, rides in the arcade opened at 10 so we rode all the rides with no lines. 6. Grabbed lunch @bluxgrillandbar.... sooo good. We also grabbed pizza in the water park. The 14’ easy feeds a family of 5 and the 20’ can easy feed 2-3 families... no joke. 7. The hotel is so clean and spacious 8. I wore a mask but I never make my kids wear one and no one bothered us! 9. Save money and bring your own drinks and snacks. Rooms are big and have a fridge and microwave:”. 10. We brought our Xbox to watch movies at night and the boys played a little roblox while I relaxed. 11. MOST IMPORTANT... bring your own pillow: my only complaint is how hard and stiff the pillows are! Hope this post helped inform you on all the fun that can be had at Kalahari. You can make it an expensive trip by playing all the virtual reality games and 2 escape rooms.
