Had every intention of relaxing in hot springs during my final day in Iceland, but some plans are meant to be changed. I met @colinmckinley_ the day before at @chrisburkard’s photography workshop and when he asked if I’d be willing to go in on a private charter to capture Iceland from above I couldn’t have said yes any quicker. The next morning we bundled up, crammed ourselves and our camera gear into @yourprivatepilot’s plane, and spent the next 5 hours marveling at some of the most breathtaking landscapes either of us had ever seen. The unfathomably perfect weather window made the entire experience feel so surreal that we honestly both caught ourselves bursting out into laughter at the absurdity of it all on multiple occasions. Nothing quite like sharing new perspectives, with new friends, in new locations

Found out that three of my prints are going on display soon (the last 2 slides are 1 of them) so decided to celebrate the small wins by finally sharing a few of my favorite photos from our trip to the Dolomites

Whether it’s deep water soloing in Mallorca or climbing by headlamp under the stars, most of my greatest climbing adventures have come from following @arigold145 into the unknown and I wouldn’t have it any other way Tomorrow will be one of the hardest physical challenges we’ve ever attempted, but no matter how it goes I know we’ll enjoy second of it

Can you imagine boarding a plane blindfolded without any idea where you’re going and then walking into a hotel like this when you get there? Neither could I, but all I can say is that I’m incredibly grateful to have a partner like @shelbss44 and friends like @seekelsgo & @i____an in my life who are able to pull off such an incredible surprise birthday trip to El Salvador
