Hi, I'm Sarah! I live in Austin, Texas and I'm 26 years old. I believe in taking a holistic approach to health and supporting our bodies with healthy organic, whole foods! I specialize in creating delicious recipes that are gluten-free and mostly plant-based! I’ve never been a naturally confident person. I’ve struggled my entire life with never feeling good enough. I was honestly scared to even talk around people because I didn’t want to say something “wrong” and have people not like me. - I always wanted to be able to talk, laugh, make jokes and have fun with people but I was always too nervous to look stupid so I would just stay quiet. When I was younger, I use to not even order my own food because I was too nervous to talk to the server! - I’ve had to work on my confidence everyday! I have big dreams and I knew that I could never make those happen if I didn’t push myself to do things that scared me. - I’ve literally had to pep talk myself everyday! Like constantly saying in my mind “you can do this, you’re just as good as anyone else, no ones judging you, just do it, it’s all good, yep you got this, stop thinking so much and just do it!” - Things that use to terrify me, I can do way easier now. I would be scared to voice my opinion, ask for anything, socialize at social events, participate in any activities because I was scared of looking stupid... The thought of being on video back in the day probably would’ve made me pass out 😂 but I force myself to do things like that because little steps give you more confidence and teaches your brain that you’re capable and you’ll survive and helps you continue to make progress. - I’m definitely still not the most confident person in the world, but I wish you could’ve seen me now compared to then. Little mindset changes and pushing yourself to do things that make you nervous, will change your life if you do them consistently! - Also, shoutout to @malsfitkitchen for always being real and honest and inspiring me to do the same 💗

Is it even Sunday without waffles!? 😂 had some paleo waffles with monk fruit maple syrup and fresh strawberries 🍓 LITERAL PERFECTION 👏🏻 my sister had some extra @birchbenders waffles so I just used those and had this beautiful meal put together in about 5 minutes 👌🏻

Happy Saturday! ✨ lay your eyes upon the best gluten-free sandwich I’ve ever had! 🤤 the top one is loaded with guac, vegan cheese, honey mustard chicken, lettuce & tomato and the bottom sandwich has purple cabbage, french dressing, vegan cheese, roast beef, lettuce & tomato 👌🏻 the gluten-free roll was crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside! I wouldn’t have even known it was gluten-free because it was so good! I got it from @ikessandwiches in Austin but I think they have locations in other states so you should definitely look into it to see if there’s one close to you!

I never leave Costco without my @autumnsgold cinnamon almond bars! They only have 10 simple ingredients (which is super important to me when I read food labels) and they seriously taste like dessert 🤤 they have almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds and cinnamon...like YUM 😍 They’re gluten-free & dairy-free which is also a must for me! You can only get them at Costco, so the next time you’re there I definitely recommend trying them! 15-min GF PLANT-BASED QUESADILLAS with Chipotle Lime dipping sauce 🤤 They’re vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and can be made low carb! They’re seriously so easy to make and when you dip them in the @plantjunkie.official chipotle lime sauce, they’re incredible! #ad I’ve been obsessed with all of Plant Junkie’s dressings and sauces lately. My second favorite is definitely the chipotle pomegranate dressing (can you tell I love chipotle? 😉) They’re made with avocado oil and are all Non-GMO, Vegan, Gluten-Free and Keto Friendly. Highly recommend! Now here’s the RECIPE👇🏻 ✨ Ingredients: -1 pack of gluten-free tortillas (choose low carb tortillas to make keto) -2-3 ripe avocados -2 Tbsp oil (I used avocado oil) -3 bell peppers (I used red but any color will work) -1 medium onion -3-4 Tbsp chopped cilantro -1 lime -sprinkle of garlic powder and salt ✨ Directions: 1. Heat up a pan on medium heat and add oil. Then add sliced peppers, sliced onion and a sprinkle of salt, garlic powder to taste. Add a little chipotle pepper powder or red pepper flakes for spice if you want. Cook until soft and slightly caramelized. 2. While the veggies are cooking, cut open your ride avocados and scoop them into to a bowl. Mash with a fork until creamy and then add the juice from your lime, the chopped cilantro and a little salt to taste. 3. Heat up a separate pan on the stove top or a panini press if you have one. Spread a layer of the mashed avocado mixture onto an entire tortilla then add some of the veggie mixture to one half. Fold the tortilla in half and plan on your heated pan. Cook until browned on one side and then flip and cook the other side. 4. Remove from the pan and repeat this with the remaining tortillas. Cut in quarters and dip into the @plantjunkie.official chipotle lime dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Friday = finding the biggest ice cream cookie sandwich I can get my hands around 🍪😂 This is the vegan gluten-free cookie sandwich from The Baked Bear and I’m OBSESSED! It’s not sugar-free (and eating sugar is a rare occurrence for me) but sometimes you have to treat yourself and this is SO 👏🏻 WORTH 👏🏻 IT 👏🏻 ✨ They have a location downtown Austin, so if you’re local you have to try it and let me know what you think! If you’re not, I still think it’s a good weekend for slapping some ice cream in between two cookies and calling it a night 😂

Made this for dinner tonight and daaaaang it was good 😏🤤 and so easy! It’s vegan, oil free, low carb and DELISH! 👏🏻 ✨ Directions: 1. Add all of the ingredients above except water to a food processor or blender. If you don’t have nutritional yeast, you can leave it out and it will still be good! 2. Add 1/4 cup of water and blend. Add a little more at a time until desired consistency is reached. 3. Add to noodles for a delicious pasta dish! It also makes a great sauce on veggies, salad dressing, etc!

My friend showed me these electrolytes when we were in Whole Foods one day after a workout class and I’ve been hooked ever since! It’s literally the reason I went from drinking 4 cups of water a day (if I was lucky🙈) to 12+ cups of water a day consistently 👏🏻 #partner I was SO EXCITED to partner with them because they created a product that made such a big impact in my life. INSTAGRAM VS REALITY 😂👉🏻 from formal to as we call it “our campfire clothes” hahaha! I would say 99% of life with my dad is either spent it our swimsuit or in grubby clothes so we can be outside doing messy activities! The only time we look like the first photo is about 0.001% of the year 😂 I didn’t know it was possible for someone to have a heart as big as his. He is the most loving, giving, caring, hard working, hilarious and incredible dad I could’ve ever been blessed to have. He taught me so many things but one thing that has always stuck with me is to focus on enjoying every possible second of life. He taught me that it doesn’t matter what you own or how much money you have, all that matters is having fun with the people you love. He had a hard life growing up but he didn’t let that stand in his way. He pushed his way through and created an incredible life for me, Val and my mom. Happy Fathers Day! We love you so much! Can’t wait for the Canadian border to open back up so we can fly home and kiss your cute face! 😘🇨🇦

I asked her to make it all the time. This recipe is a healthy spin on that! To get the full effect, melt some chocolate to replace the hot fudge and grab some dairy-free whipped cream to add 👌🏻 Perfect easy dessert for this weekend!
